Named after a prominent area merchant, the park offers quiet, beautiful grounds perfect for a respite from a busy day. One of Gratz Park's most notable features is its fountain, whose centerpiece is two bronze figures frolicking in the water. Dedicated to the city's children, it was a gift from Lexington author James Lane Allen.
